About
, , , ,
Cheryls was founded by Cheryl Krueger and her college roommate, Caryl Walker. In 1981 they opened the very first Cheryls Cookies in Columbus, Ohio. It was a modest storefront which offered six kinds of cookies as well as soda pop. It took just seven years for the company to broaden its offerings to include desserts and gifts. And with this growth a new name Cheryls appeared. As the company grew, new desserts were added: gourmet brownies, cakes and fancy cookies, including seasonal cut-out cookies topped with a signature buttercream frosting. Cheryls produced seasonal catalogs. They were filled with gift ideas for every occasion. The customer-focused business gift department was added to better serve medium and large companies. Today, Cheryls is a multi-faceted business comprised of retail stores in Ohio, a high-traffic Internet business and a successful Business Gift Division, all headquartered in the Columbus suburb of Westerville, Ohio.
Cheryls is ranked 263 out of 3063 in Food Manufacturers category
